PIN Retrieval

If you have lost or forgotten your PIN, it may be emailed to you. Your PIN will be sent to the email address you indicate. The information you provide will be verified against your current IRP file. If information does not match, your PIN may not be retrieved using this service. Please use the Contact Us form, or call 217-785-1800 for assistance.

The PIN retrieved using this service is confidential and may not be used by any other individual, company, applicant, licensing service, or any other entity not entitled to receive it. Use by any unauthorized entity is strictly prohibited and may cause the IRP renewal to be rejected and not processed for the ensuing renewal year. The Office of the Secretary of State of Illinois will not be held responsible for the return of the PIN should an incorrect email address be given or there are problems with your internet service. Every attempt to return your PIN will be made using the address you have given. Only authorized individuals may obtain a PIN for renewal using process. Please verify all information for accuracy before submitting.
